    Xavier Cooks is an Australian basketball player and is currently playing for the Chiba Jets in the Japanese B League. Xavier has played power forward for the Washington Wizards in the NBA, Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns in the NBA Summer League, and won NBL MVP for the Sydney Kings.

    Playing career/athlete’s background: Xavier Cooks has played in the NBA, NBL, and German, New Zealand and Japanese basketball leagues. He played in the NBA Summer League after playing for the Winthrop Eagles in D1 College Basketball. Cooks won NBL Finals MVP in 2022 for the Sydney Kings, and NBL MVP in 2023, claiming the championship in consecutive years. In 2023, Cooks signed with the Washington Wizards, finishing the NBA season before signing with the Chiba Jets in the Japanese B League.
